Elkwood

The Shrine of Shadows

Some travelers visiting the small town discovered this shrine, or what was left of it, directly outside of the village in the forest surrounding it. It is made of an altar in the middle of broken down pillars and ruins of walls crumbling down around it. No one knows what this shrine was built to worship, but the ground surrounding the altar is caked with old pools of dried blood, and eerie etchings cover the alter itself.

The Sawmill

The mill here is used to saw huge logs in half in order to make them useful for building, and its sawdust can be used for house insulation. A burly man named Balimund works this sawmill, as well as being the head smith in the armory.

Balimund's Forge

The armory of the town of Elkwood. Balimund, the smith, makes basic iron and steel armors and weapons for the militia and townsfolk of Elkwood. His steel is known to be more durable, used to the ingredients he uses to fire his forge. His secrets are not known to anyone but himself, but he often trades his equipment to other villages when paid to do so.
